Content Search Instruction
The Web of Science webpage is loaded on the frame on the right hand
side -->
1.
In WOS, choose Full Search On the next page, be
sure to select the dates you want to search – i.e. “Latest
(One Week, Two Weeks, Four Weeks)” or select a year or range
of years. Then
click the button marked Open Histories
2.
On Open Histories page, click the Browse button
to the search file. A small window should pop open.

Click on My Computer
•
Click on [ W:] ( Everyone on SMBS2a )
•
Choose Current Contents Workaround
•
Click in the folder & pick the pick your search. All searches
are arranged in folders by their subject category, and the files
all end with the extension .wos. Click on the files to start the
search. | View

( * On the drop down menu "File of Type", make sure "All
files ( *.*) is selected )
3.
Once a search has been selected, click the Open Histories
button to load it onto the page. After the page loads with the new
search, click the Run button to execute the search.
4.
This search will include tables of contents from all journals for
that subject category. It may also be combined with keywords or
authors’ names to limit the search if desired.
