Prerequisites from first two years of medical education curriculum:

IMC 504 Fundamentals II 3.8 cr
IMC 510 GI & Metabolism 4.0 cr
IMC 602 Cardiovascular 6.5 cr
IMC 612 Endocrine 5.0 cr
IMC 606-610 Neuroscience 7.5 cr
IMC 604 Pulmonary 2.0 cr
    36.0 cr

Required:

PMY 505A Pharmacology Seminar 2.0 cr
PMY 506A Pharmacology Seminar 2.0 cr
PMY 525 Advanced Pharmacology 4.0 cr
PMY 751 Thesis Research  
MST 601 MSTP Seminar 1.0 cr
each sem

Students must also take:

PMY 550+ Receptor Pharmacology 2.0 cr
OR
PMY 626+* Toxicology Principles and Practice 2.0 cr
OR
PMY 627+* Target Organ Toxicity 2.0 cr

+ Or elective approved by the Director of Graduate Studies
* Denotes half-semester course
