PAGE UNDER CONSTRUCTION!! What is The CLIMB Program? We would like to introduce you to a groundbreaking approach to graduate education and research. The Collaborative Learning and Integrated Mentoring in the Biosciences (CLIMB) Program™ at UB guides a select, diverse group of bioscience PhD students to develop advanced skills for collaborating, communicating, mentoring, and conducting research across disciplines, and accelerate their professional development through a series of activities that will complement and enhance their coursework.
The goal of The CLIMB Program at UB is to shape you into a successful graduate student and guide you into becoming a top-notch professional scientist, through research activities and peer and academic mentoring. Internationally recognized faculty, as well as successful graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows, are eager to mentor and train you using cutting-edge technology in a broad range of disciplines, including pharmacology, drug discovery, neuroscience, cell and molecular biology, circadian biology, and chemical biology, to name just a few. Dr. Margarita L. Dubocovich, Director of the CLIMB Program at UB, founded The CLIMB Program at Northwestern University in 2007. Now, with the establishment of The CLIMB Program at UB, the two programs will build a strong collaborative network which will enhance the CLIMB Scholar experience at both institutions.
