OVERVIEW | COURSES
ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA
Acceptance into the program requires a GPA
of 2.0 overall & a GPA of 2.5 in science
courses and an adequate background to study
Biophysics. However, no specific minimum
course requirement is set for admission
to the major. Students who wish to apply
for acceptance into the program should bring
an application form together with a copy
of their current UB DARS report directly
to the Department.
DEGREE CONFERRAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE
BIOPHYSICS MAJOR
a) Complete 13 credit hours of Biophysics and
54 credit hours of required courses outside
Biophysics.
b) Complete the degree requirements of the
