Medical Library
Students,
residents, and attending physicians utilize the conveniently
located medical library at Children’s Hospital. It is available
for use via proper identification on a 24-hour basis, and is
staffed on weekdays until 4:30 p.m. The library houses 9,816
volumes, of which 9,687 are periodicals and the remaining are
textbooks and monographs. The library subscribes to 350
periodicals and is sensitive to the needs of pediatricians as
well as other specialists using the resource facility. All major
texts and reference materials are available, as are computer
searches with access to on-line retrieval service and MEDLINE on
CD-ROM. |
