Sync Sites
There are numerous PDA sync sites available for syncing to UBMobileMed, AvantGo,
email, ePocrates, and the Palm Desktop:
Campus PDA Sync Sites:
- Room 225 Cary Hall Computer Lab - Equipped with USB and Serial cradles
to sync all applications through a local desktop. Also available are ClarinetIR
ports used to individually sync web-based applications like UBMobileMed, ePocrates,
and email.
- Health and Sciences Library, Media Resource Center- Equipped with ClarinetIR
ports.
Hospital PDA Sync
Sites:
All hospital sync sites are equipped with Clarinet EtherIR Ports for
syncing UBMM, ePocrates, and Email.
- Buffalo General Hospitals Medical Library
- Children’s Hospital Medical Library
- ECMC Hospital Medical Library
- Millard Gates Hospital Medical Library
- Millard Suburban Hospital Medical Library
- Roswell Park Medical Library
- Sisters Hospital Medical Library
UB Medical hospitals are not equiped to sync to thePalm Desktop.
Wi-Fi Hotspots:
Wi-Fi hotspots can be used to sync UBMM, ePocrates, and email.
South Campus
- Abbott, Health Sciences Library: basement through 3rd floor
- Crosby: 3rd floor
- Farber: G26, 144, 150 Farber Hall (classrooms)
- Butler Auditorium
- Hayes: 2nd floor
- Cary Hall 2nd floor, outside main computing lab and in medical lab classrooms
- BEB Atrium
- Farber Study Annex
North Campus
- Baldy: northeast portion of 2nd floor
- Bell: 1st floor computer lab
- Capen Undergraduate Library: 1st floor, 3rd floor Cybrary
- Clemens: northern half of 1st floor
- Computing Center: 2nd floor, most of 3rd floor
- Cooke: 5th floor
- Fine Arts Center: 1st floor atrium
- Furnas: 2nd floor
- Jacobs: 1st and 2nd floors
- Lockwood Library: 2nd and 3rd floor Cybraries
- O'Brian, Law Library: Basement through 4th floors and 7th floor
- Student Union: northeast quadrant of 1st floor, 2nd floor
