After Hours in Western New York

Buffalo is situated less than 30 minutes away from the one of the seven wonders of the world: Niagara Falls. Even more spectacular but less well known is Letchworth State Park. Summer attractions include the Shaw Festival at Niagara- on-the Lake, Shakespeare in the Park at Delaware Park in Buffalo, Buffalo Bisons baseball, yachting, wind sailing, fishing, camping, hiking, hunting and swimming at Lake Erie, Lake Ontario or the Niagara River. On Sunday afternoons there are open air jazz concerts on the steps of the Albright-Knox Art Museum at 2pm and at the Science Museum at 4pm. Winter attractions include the Buffalo Philharmonic, cross country skiing, downhill skiing at a number of resorts south of the city, Buffalo Sabres ice hockey and of course Buffalo Bills football.

Buffalo boasts of a transportation infrastructure, access to all attractions and places of business is within 30 minutes. Buffalo is in easy reach of the rest of the world through its international airport less than 20 minutes from the city center, or Toronto Airport is only 2 hours drive. Property prices are low relative to the rest of the nation and there are outstanding private and public school systems in the area.
