Prospective Residents |
| The Department of Orthopaedics, State University of New York at Buffalo Residency Program is a fully accredited 5 year program. The program accepts 4 residents per year. We participate in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS), and do not require any additional information not already required by ERAS. |
| Please ensure the following information is included in your ERAS application: (deadline is October 15) |
| - at least three letters of recommendation (due by November 1) please include at least one letter from an orthopedic surgeon; a chairman's letter or program director's letter is also helpful - Personal Statement - Medical School Transcript - USMLE Scores: step 1 (step 2 if available) - Dean's letter (due by November 1) - Photograph (optional) - International medical graduates- ECFMG status |
