| Open biopsy with frozen section demonstrated friable reddish brown tissue containing multi nucleated giant cells and stromal cells, all indicating the diagnosis of an active Giant Cell Tumor of bone. An immediate, thorough curettage was carried out, including power burring and application of phenol, and the defect was filled with bone cement- polymethyl methacrylate. |
