Citrix allows you to use many of our software applications without having them installed on your computer. You can access the software you need from home, school or any corner of the world. First time user will need " Citrix ICA Client" Installed first.

First Time Citrix Users Instructions:
Citrix Independent Computing Architecture (ICA) technology provides the foundation for deploying applications and information onto any device. It allows you to have access to a Windows desktop from any location together with Windows software you may need to complete class assignments, but may not loaded have on your personal computer. In order to properly run these applications you need to load Citrix on your computer.

DO NOT install this if:
1) you are at a public workstation!
2) you have already installed UBiquity


* UBiquity is the name given to the Citrix-based distributed computing environment used in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics.


 

PC Users: MAC Users:

Microsoft Windows users can download the Primary ICA Client from the following link

Download Citrix for
> Win32 (Windows 2000,XP,Vista)

Installation for Windows XP/Vista:

1. When prompted
2. Allow computer access (Vista)
3. Accept filled in defaults

Macintosh users will have limited access to our web based clients.

Download Citrix for:
> Power PC
> OSX

After installing Citrix.
Open the Citrix Client Editor.
Open Default Settings.
Change TCP/IP+HTTP to TCP/IP
Go to Address List -> Add...
Insert this address -> 128.205.184.12
Save these changes and exit the Editor.

Instructions:
Accept all the default settings during the installation of the program.

Once you have Citrix ICA Client installed, you can go back to the OMC Citrix Application.
Click on the program you want to run, or the desktop icon to connect to your network and local hard drives.
