Undergraduate Research Opportunities

 

The faculty at the Department welcome undergraduate students into their laboratories. Current research opportunities are listed on the Center for Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities' web-site (http://curca.buffalo.edu/research/index.php) under the headings of Microbiology or Microbiology and Immunology. This list may, however, not be complete. Undergraduate students are therefore welcome to contact individual whose lab they may be interested in working in.

Undergraduate research can be in the form of work study, voluntary, and can also be awarded research credits.

In 2008 the members of the Department published 42 papers and Chapters. Faculty, students and postdocs presented their work at 72 national and international meetings.
