Academic Programs
The Department runs a Graduate Program in Microbiology and Immunology that you can enter through the Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Biomedical Sciences (IGPBS), through the Medical Science Training Program (MSTP), or through direct admission. The Department also runs a M. A. Program in Microbiology and Immunology that recruits through the Interdisciplinary graduate office. If you are interested press the link to the left.
To train graduate students in Microbiology and Immunology the Department runs several graduate student courses. Courses in the fundamentals of Microbiology and Immunology are given in combination with advanced and special topics courses.
The Department also gives courses for Medical and Dental students and participates heavily in the Medical and Dental School curriculum. The Department also gives the second biggest course in Microbiology for undergraduates in the country
