The Department of Microbiology and Immunology offers several predoctoral and postdoctoral training programs in a variety of research areas based on state-of-the-art research conducted in the laboratories of the departmental faculty. Currently, there are 20 primary appointment faculty members and 24 secondary appointment faculty members with research interests in bacteriology, immunology, parasitology, and virology.
