Program Design / Typical Schedule

Categorical requirements over 3 years

Each of the following is listed as number of modules. Each module is 4 weeks long. Therefore, there are 13 modules each year.

  • 13.5 Floors
  • 3 Medical Intensive Care Units (MICU)
  • 2 Coronary Care Units (CCU)
  • 4 Ambulatory rotations
  • 1 Community Academic Practice
  • 1 Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI)
  • 1 Geriatrics
  • 1 Emergency Room
  • 1 Gynecology
  • 9 Electives (Maximum of 3 as Research)
  • 2.5 Vacation modules
