Research

As a University program, we feel it is essential to support the research interests of our residents. Our extensive faculty members provide a large pool of expertise and project opportunities. Some residents create a project and follow through to presentation or publication while others are involved with an ongoing project. Whether your interest is in clinical or basic science research we can support you with a maximum of three months of dedicated research time. Many of our residents publish papers or present posters at national meetings with the support of their research mentors. These types of opportunities are essential when considering an academic career or fellowship.
