A number of clinical conferences are held each week at the teaching hospitals. These provide a forum for discussion of clinical problems. They include a monthly city-wide non-invasive conference and a weekly cardiac catheterization conference held at the individual hospitals. In addition, there is a required weekly didactic lecture series for all fellows which covers the entire cardiology syllabus in a systematic fashion over a three year cycle.

There are also regularly scheduled research conferences and monthly evening journal clubs which are held at faculty member's homes.
