Buffalo Physician is the magazine of the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. It is published quarterly and distributed to a readership of 12,000 that includes alumni, students, residents, faculty, area health-care administrators, state and regional elected officials and friends of the school.

Buffalo Physician has received numerous awards and honors from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE); the State University of New York Council for University Affairs and Development (SUNY/CUAD); and the American Association of Medical College’s Group on Institutional Advancement (AAMC/GIA).
