Undergraduate Programs
in Biomedical Sciences
and Clinical Lab Sciences

The School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (SMBS) offers a variety of majors that lead to a Bachelor of Science Degree (B.S.) in preparation for graduate and/or professional education.  Undergraduates who pursue these majors apply to professional schools or further their education by pursuing a graduate degree.

The SMBS also includes the Department of Biotechnical and Clinical Laboratory Sciences, which offers majors in Biotechnology, Medical Technology and Nuclear Medicine Technology.  Both Medical Technology and Nuclear Medicine Technology incorporate guaranteed hospital rotations in their curricula and, as accredited programs, their graduates are able to sit for national certification and licensure exams.

The biomedical sciences include majors in Biochemistry,  Biophysics and Pharmacology and Toxicology.  New to the School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences is a Biophysics concentration in Bioinformatics and an interdisciplinary program in   the Biomedical Sciences.

Congratulations to the Class of 2007!
