Buffalo Niagara Bio-Network Summit II
June 27-28, 2006 **NOTE: Due to limited space, this event is by invitation only
The Buffalo Niagara Bio-Network Summit II, is being hosted for a group
of expatriates whose strong personal ties to the region make them deeply
committed to the success of the life science economy in Western New York.
Drawing on a long history of innovation, this region is well poised to
continue its contributions to the life sciences, and the Bio-Network group
is gathering to discuss how the region is working to increase successful
commercialization and industry growth, and how you can be a part of our
advisory network to local leaders.
The Summit will begin with dinner and discussion on June 27th at the Frank
Lloyd Wright Darwin Martin Barton House, which provides a glimpse of the
rich architectural heritage that this region possesses. The meeting continues
on June 28th at the University at Buffalo's new life sciences facility
housed on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus. The meetings at UB's New
York State Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics & Life Sciences (CoE),
hosted in conjunction with BuffLink, will focus on the development of
regional commercialization strategy, as well as providing a tour of the
CoE.
