The sixth annual Biochemistry Research Day was held on Friday, May 2, 2008 at the
Ramada Inn and Conference Center

We are pleased to announce that our Elizabeth Olmstead Ross keynote speaker will be Zhijian (James) Chen, Ph.D., a 1991 graduate from the Biochemistry Department. Dr. Chen is an Howard Hughes Medical Institute investigator at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, currently working on ubiquitin signaling in the NF-kB pathway and also antiviral signaling. He has also played a major role in proteasome research and drug development.
