Each clinical site offers a referral
service for acute pain relief. VA Medical Center, Erie County
Medical Center, Roswell Park Cancer Institute, and most recently
Women and Children’s Hospital, offer a comprehensive service for
the evaluation and treatment of chronic pain. After physiological
assessment of the patient, an individually –tailored
plan is developed which may include physical therapy, behavior
modification, biofeedback, electrical nerve stimulation, or
a selective nerve block procedure.
