UB Anesthesiology is somewhat different in that there is no single university hospital, but, in fact, nine separate clinical sites where specific anesthetic cases are experienced. We believe that this arrangement exposes our residents to not only a variety of different anesthetic techniques offered by our diverse faculty, but also to special anesthetic techniques in the care of cancer, cardiac, and pediatric patients.

UB Anesthesiology is committed to excellence in resident education, clinical care, and research. The extensive training offered by this program prepares each resident to successfully pursue future goals, whether it be in teaching, clinical care, or research.
