TO:  Society for Neuroscience Membership

The Education Committee will be meeting in New Orleans and would appreciate
suggestions from the membership at large on what topics you would like to
see presented in future Annual Meeting Short and Special Courses.  These
workshops are for the benefit of our members and we want to ensure that we
are serving the ever-changing educational needs and diverse interests of
our constituency.

Please let us know what courses would interest you for 1998 and beyond.  We
would also appreciate your feedback on whether you feel that the Society's
Short and Special Courses are worthwhile in view of the many satellite
events that occur the same day.  E-mail your comments and course
suggestions to Nancy Beang, Executive Director (nancy@sfn.org).  We look
forward to hearing from you and appreciate your assistance in shaping
future Short and Special Courses.
