    on the Web

DIRECTORY OF NEUROSCIENCE TRAINING PROGRAMS IN NORTH AMERICA UPDATED ON THE WEB

The Association of Neuroscience Departments and Programs is in the process
of updating the electronic version of the directory of Neuroscience
Training Programs in North America.  The directory can be accessed on
the World Wide Web at (http://www.andp.org/training).

The directory provides a comprehensive listing and description of
undergraduate and graduate neuroscience programs in the United States,
Canada and Mexico.  It also provides information on how to apply and
what to look for in a neuroscience program.

The Web version of the directory will appear in its entirety on the
Internet, including complete program descriptions, and will be regularly
updated in lieu of the print version.  ANDP does not plan to publish a
new print version of the directory in the near future.

To assist us in updating the Web version of the directory and ensuring
complete program information, responsible parties are asked to review
the current listings and use the form provided in this notice to make
any revisions and provide complete program descriptions.

The directory will be linked to the Home pages of individual training
programs of those universities that wish to take advantage of this
feature.  Listed programs will also have the opportunity to link return
e-mail for program contacts.

The program listing is free to ANDP members as a benefit of membership,
which is based on the calendar year.  ANDP members will be identified in
the directory by a special logo.  Programs must have current membership
dues paid by July 1, 1997, for their listings to remain on the Web site.
If your program/department would like to become a member of ANDP, please
fill out the attached form and mail to Kelli Mills at the address below.

Non-ANDP-member neuroscience programs can be listed in the 1997 electronic
version of the directory of Neuroscience Training Programs in North
America for a fee of $260.00.
