UB/Royal College of Physicians Educator Program (Faculty)
The Offices of Graduate Medical Education and Continuing Medical Education are partnering with the Royal College of Physicians to offer an exciting opportunity to approximately 35 UB Faculty members who have been identified as being interested in enhancing their skills as educators.
The Royal College of Physicians Faculty Development Program has two stages. Stage one consists of clinical teaching and feedback skills and Stage two covers generic teaching skills, assessment, and trainees with difficulty. All participants are required to complete an education project as a component of the training. A Peer Support Network will assist participants in completing this goal.
Participants who successfully complete both stages of the program, including the education project, are awarded the status of Certified Royal College of Physician (RCP) Educator. Certified Royal College of Physician Educators are asked to share their knowledge at future faculty development activities offered at UB.
