Dr. Kostyniak is a Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology, the certifying agency for toxicologists in the U.S., and has over 25 years of experience in Toxicology and in education. He has developed and coordinated numerous Environmental Toxicology and Occupational Health courses for graduate students and medical students and has authored over 60 scientific publications and book chapters.
He has served on numerous study sections and grant review committees, and has served as an expert witness providing testimony on exposure assessment, heavy metals, and halogenated organics.

Dr. Syracuse has over 30 years experience in education and curriculum design at all levels and is responsible for the administration, curriculum design, development, content and quality, and instructor assignments for all courses conducted by the Toxicology Research Center. He has designed curricula for occupational safety and health training to include HAZWOPER, asbestos and lead abatement, indoor air quality, Bloodborne Pathogens, etc. He has also developed the curriculum in use by a local hospital to provide the occupational safety and health rotation training for medical residents.
Dr. Syracuse's experience in environmental and occupational safety and health operations dates from 1974 when he served as the environmental response officer for the U.S. Army at Fort Campbell , Kentucky. He was responsible for all aspects of Nuclear, Chemical, and Biological Defense training for all military units in a ten state area.
Hartley F. Hutchins, Jr.

Mr. Hutchins is certified by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene as well as the Board of Certified Safety Professionals in the comprehensive practice of Industrial Hygiene and Safety. He is also a Diplomat of the American Academy of Industrial Hygiene.
He has over 30 years experience in the public and private sector, and over 25 years in process engineering, environmental, and health and safety activities. He was most recently manager of global process engineering activities for Delphi Harrison Thermal Systems. These activities focused on developing new Bill of Process manufacturing chemical processes that included Design in Safety initiatives to meet various health, safety and environmental requirements and regulations. Mr. Hutchins has had previous work experiences with the Illinois Geological Survey as a coal chemist, as a high school chemistry teacher and as a formulation chemist with a large fertilizer, and pesticide manufacturer.
Mr. Hutchins has served as Chairman of the Niagara Frontier Air Pollution and Waste Management Association as well as the Western New York American Industrial Hygiene Association. He has been a tutor/mentor with Empire State College, SUNY for the past 20 years teaching various environmental, health and safety courses.

Mr. Jerge has over twenty-five years experience as an industrial hygienist, occupational safety/health/loss control safety consultant. Currently, he is the Executive Director of Industrial Hygiene & Occupational Health, Inc. He has worked with manufacturing, municipalities, health care, colleges, high schools and the insurance industry.
His technical experience includes comprehensive industrial hygiene surveys, OSHA mock surveys, audits of asbestos, hazardous and lead abatement contractors, noise, welding fumes, organics, indoor air quality surveys, in addition to other types of industrial hygiene surveys and audits. He also monitored asbestos abatement projects for several Fortune 500 customers in Texas, Oklahoma, and Illinois.
Mr. Jerge has been an adjunct professor at several colleges for over 13 years, providing training in environmental health and safety. He also provides training for NY State and EPA approved Asbestos, Hazardous Waste and Lead Courses, and at an OSHA Training Institute Education Center, where he also serves as the chairperson for courses in industrial hygiene, respiratory protection, ergonomics, confined space and hazardous materials. He also is and teaches as a Train the Trainer for general industry & construction. He also teaches the 40-hour & 24 hour Emergency Hazardous Waste Response Programs. As chairperson he develops course content, budgets, planning and course presentation.
Mr. Jerge is currently an active member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association, American Society of Safety Engineers, American Public Health Association, World Safety Organization, and the Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation.

Mr. Standard has been involved in Industrial Safety and Environmental Management for more than 30 years, including Hazardous Superfund Cleanup Sites in New York and New Jersey. He has also been responsible for recruiting, training, and operating an emergency response team, at three locations of a major transportation manufacturing facility involved in chemical spills and victim rescue.
He has served as a member of the Environmental Advisory Council of the Southern Tier, sponsored by Corning Community College to help small businesses in the Steuben County Area of New York State.
He has also completed numerous in-service training courses including:

Mr. Standard has completed the requirements which enable him to train workers in the OSHA 10 hour Introduction to General Industry and Construction Industry standards training courses.

Mr. Thomason has over 30 years experience instructing at the local, County, State and Federal level. Instruction positions held include:

- Adjunct instructor with the National Emergency Training Center and the
- National Fire Academy, Emmitsburg, Maryland

- Fire instructor with Erie County and a BOCES vocational high school
He is currently the Team Leader of the Southtowns Hazardous Materials Response Team and has been re-elected five times. He is a past Fire Chief of a Village Fire Department, a past Assistant County Fire Safety Coordinator, and he has over 38 years experience with the Pioneer Hook and Ladder Company, of the East Aurora Fire Department. He is a founding member of the Ice Rescue Team, a certified SCUBA diver, and past team leader of the Fire Department Underwater Rescue and Recovery Team.
